Immerse Yourself in Bruce County

The beautiful Lake Huron coast municipalities of Saugeen Shores and Kincardine have partnered together with the support of Bruce Power, the world's largest operating nuclear power facility, to successfully attract new doctors to our region. Both residents and the local business believe that access to health care in both municipalities is an essential element to a vibrant local community.

That’s why we are working together to reach out to doctors who are interested in moving to one of Canada’s top coastal destinations.

So take a moment and immerse yourself in Bruce County and discover the place that will entertain and surprise you.

OPPORTUNITIES

Opportunities for You...
and Your Family.

Embarking on a New Career Path

If you are looking for an immediate position either in a FHN or a FHO, the inviting communities of Kincardine, Port Elgin & Southampton provide exceptional opportunities. Each community is situated along the shoreline of Lake Huron within a very diverse Bruce County. The area is Ontario’s “Best Kept Secret” within a 2-3 hour drive from London, Hamilton & Metropolitan Toronto.

The area is home to many attractions and annual events, including the Kincardine Scottish Festival, Pumpkin Festival, Musical Celebrations, Museums, Live Theatre, Art Schools, Galleries, Lighthouses and Blue Flag Beaches. The region also features beautiful nature trails for both winter & summer activities.

This is some text about how people can start a new business in Bruce County, maybe talk/link to existing industries in the area, job opportunities for the spouse. Could also have a cycling “testimonial” type feature from existing physicians about how much they like working in Kincardine/Saugeen Shores? Maybe a little piece about “what you can expect practicing rural medicine?”
